Martial ArtsSecond-degree Black Belt in three martial arts:
I began my study of martial arts at the age of 12, learning Japanese Sosuishi-ryu Jujutsu. Later, I added Modern Arnis and then hybridized these two styles, with a third, Non-Classical Gung Fu, into a new martial art, Tensoku-ryu Bujutsu. |

I have had the opportunity to train with numerous skill martial artists from a variety of backgrounds. Jesse Glover, Bruce Lee's first student, was one of my instructors until his passing in 2012 in his Non-classical Gung Fu style.
I have also trained with Wanderlei Silva, #1 Best Middleweight Fighter in the World. Silva is known for mixing good sportsmanship and aggressive fighting techniques.
Other instructors of note:
-Leo Gaje
-Max Pallen
-Kelly Worden, NSI Martial Arts
-Cacoy Cañete
-Remy Presas, Jr.

Scuba Diving
I am a PADI-certified SCUBA Diver. Diving is a new challenge for me. Even as a young child I was fascinated by the marine environment.
The danger and beauty associated with underwater adventures never ceases to inspire me. I have dove in the treacherous waters of Puget Sound and the super-cold waters of Clear Lake, Oregon. I look forward to other dives in the future.
